A Day Trip to Republ1c Wakepark, Laguna
The Republ1c Wakepark (yes, that ‘1’ is supposed to be there!) in Laguna is a great day out if you are up for learning a new sport or are a seasoned Wake Board Pro. It’s also fun for kids aged 10+ years. Get them started on a knee board and they will soon be addicted! The lake is very well kept and offers a natural break from city towers and traffic. Even if you’re not going to try wake boarding yourself, the park is an enjoyable place to hang out in with a hip, laid back atmosphere; wake enthusiasts lounge on deck chairs listening to music waiting for their energy to peak for another session on the lake.
Although our three-year-old daughter couldn’t participate, she entertained herself in the little play park for hours and had a good time watching “the wakers” flying past. Meanwhile, her 19-year-old Uncle and 36-year-old Daddy tried to impress by throwing themselves off wake ramps. There is a little eatery here serving fast food and shakes which kept the wolf from the door.
The park has a learner cable and an advanced cable to choose from.
