One of the many things we love about running globetotting is all the inspiring family travel bloggers that we get to meet. These are families who, like us, believe that travel is not only fun, but that it is also important. It’s a way for families to connect, an opportunity to learn and a chance to spend real, proper, quality time together.
So, when two of these aforementioned travelling mums (Andrea of Wanderlust Living and Keryn from Walking on Travels) invited us to take part in a new kind of family travel magazine, we couldn’t wait to get involved.
Twist Travel Magazine is a collaborative online magazine that aims to gather the best family travel and lifestyle content and put it all in one good-looking package for families everywhere that love to travel.
In this, the inaugural Twist issue, we contributed two stories. Victoria shared her experience de-stressing in a family-friendly spa in Sweden and I wrote about five of my favourite museums in Mexico City – guaranteed to please even the most culture-wary kid!
There are also stories from some of our favourite fellow family travel writers and bloggers on roaming the wild west in a VW Camper Van, discovering that St Barts really is a family paradise, white water rafting the Main Salmon River in Central Idaho and climbing the majestic Pulpit Rock in Norway. And then there are features on how to pack for a stylish five-day getaway in hand luggage only, mouth-watering recipes and insider tips on where to get the best gelato in Rome. Honestly, there are so many great, wanderlust-worthy stories here that there’s bound to be something to appeal to all travel styles and tastes.
So if, like us, you are always on the lookout for travel inspiration then Twist is your new go-to magazine. We’re excited to be part of it and we hope you enjoy reading it just as much!
Take a look at the magazine (its’ free!!) and let us know what you think.
